Answer 1 :
Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is in several locations. Montgomery College in Montgomery County, Maryland has a few locations. Both are good community colleges.
Answer 2 :
George town university
Answer 3 :
In the suburbs, there's a few options: Montgomery College - several locations www.montgomerycollege.edu Northern Virginia Community College - also several locations www.nvcc.edu and Prince Georges Community College www.pgcc.edu You could also try the University of the District of Columbia www.udc.edu - or any of the other universities in the city that may have continuing education classes during the summer.
Answer 4 :
Prince George's community College in Largo, MD and Northern Virginia Community College's Alexandria campus are probably the two closest, in Maryland and Virginia respectively. I believe both are accessible via metro, but you may need to take a bus. If college graduation is not the goal, that is you may want credit but don't really need to take the class at a college, you might check out the USDA's graduate school program, which is located at several locations, but primarily at L'Enfant Plaza in the district. They have very reasonably priced courses in all sorts of areas that will enrich government employees, and are a great option. Some of their classes, I believe, confer college credit.
Answer 5 :
NOVA, best one hands down
Answer 6 :
It depends on what County you're living in.
Answer 7 :
"NOVA" is not the college's name. Most people get NVCC confused with NOVA because the parking sticker says NOVA. NOVA is actually the area where the campuses are located however the real name is Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC).
