Answer 1 :
The acceptance rate of the University of Washington is 57%. That is somewhat competitive. That would require you to get a GPA of around 3.5 or higher and get an SAT score of about 1600 or higher, ACT score of about 24 or higher out of 36. Check out collegeboard.com for more details. Good luck :)
Answer 2 :
It is a selective university with a 57% acceptance rate. The application essay, rigor of the high school record, and GPA are most important for admission.

Are there any coastal towns in Washington with a 4 yr college close by

Are there any coastal towns in Washington with a 4 yr college close by?
I am wanting to move to Washington coast and would like to know if anyone knows of any schools along the coast?

Answer 1 :
There are no 4 year colleges near the coast. All are either in towns on Puget Sound or even further inland. Seattle - University of Washington Seattle University Seattle Pacific University Tacoma - University of Puget Sound UW Tacoma Bellingham - Western Washington University are going to be your best bets to be "near" the Washington coast.
Answer 2 :
no the only place i know is bellingham! they have a 4 year college? they have a 2 year in aberdeen 20 miles from the ocean but all of our 4 years ones are inland like olympia tacoma or seattle!! you may find one in california? san franciso?
Answer 3 :
Bellingham houses Western WA Univ. Very beautiful place on the coast.
Answer 4 :
I think stormibays has the only possible suggestion that I agree on. You could live in Bellingham and go to Western Washington University. Or you could live in Edmonds and then commute to the Bothell branch of the University of Washington.
