Which community college is most recommended in Washington State

Which community college is most recommended in Washington State?
I just moved out to washington almost half a year ago & i'm still thinking about which community college to start off in next year, then hopefully transfer to a Universit afterwards. But I'm still in the process of getting my residency so its cheaper too. I'm also planning to major in Nursing. Any suggestions on which community college I should attend?

Has anyone from Washington and Jefferson College gone to Johns Hopkins Medical School

Has anyone from Washington and Jefferson College gone to Johns Hopkins Medical School?
I'm going to be a freshman at Washington and Jefferson College next year. I want to go to Johns Hopkins Medical School in the future. I was wondering what medical schools have W&J pre-med students been accepted to or how I could find this information out.

Answer 1 :
It's not you went to W&J College so you only have certain options of med school. Try and maintain a 4.0 through college (Very hard, but if you study and try really hard you can do it) Do extracurriculars and get involved in things related to medicine and you can get into Johns Hopkins.
Answer 2 :
Your school's academic advising or counseling office should have preprofessional advisors. They'll be able to give you statistics and tell you what classes you should take and anything else you need to do to prepare.

To get into Washington College what do your high school grades need to be

To get into Washington College what do your high school grades need to be?
I'm a sophomore, and I want to know if my grades are okay or not. What should my grades be sophomore year, junior year, and senior year? What about freshman year?

Answer 1 :
The college you choose to go to will have this information on their website usually somewhere around 'prospective students' It should tell you what the minimum cumulative GPA needs to be for incoming freshman. You should shoot for higher than what they tell you.
Answer 2 :
*This answer is for Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland* The admissions committee looks at your grades from freshman through senior year. The average GPA for an incoming student is around a 3.45, weighted. Looking for an upward trend, it's okay if freshman year wasn't your best -- that's not atypical. It's also important to note that WC wants to see at least Algebra II, three lab sciences, and two consecutive years of a foreign language. This will help as you plan your classes for the next couple of years. Also, a campus visit is very strongly recommended for all applicants. Kudos to you for thinking about your academic future so early in high school! Best of luck.
