To get into Washington College what do your high school grades need to be?
I'm a sophomore, and I want to know if my grades are okay or not. What should my grades be sophomore year, junior year, and senior year? What about freshman year?

Answer 1 :
The college you choose to go to will have this information on their website usually somewhere around 'prospective students' It should tell you what the minimum cumulative GPA needs to be for incoming freshman. You should shoot for higher than what they tell you.
Answer 2 :
*This answer is for Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland* The admissions committee looks at your grades from freshman through senior year. The average GPA for an incoming student is around a 3.45, weighted. Looking for an upward trend, it's okay if freshman year wasn't your best -- that's not atypical. It's also important to note that WC wants to see at least Algebra II, three lab sciences, and two consecutive years of a foreign language. This will help as you plan your classes for the next couple of years. Also, a campus visit is very strongly recommended for all applicants. Kudos to you for thinking about your academic future so early in high school! Best of luck.
