i want to apply at a college in washington state but i live in ohio, will this be a problem?
i want to go to Eastern Washington University is it a good college? and yeah would there be any troubles?

there should be no problem...you might have to pay out-of-state tuition, but otherwise you shouldn't have any difficulty applying...many people go to colleges and universities in states other than those in which they live...my brother went to rensselaer in troy NY, but applied there from phoenix OR... as for gaining admission to EWU, they are free to set their limits as to how many students they wish to admit and from where (they may only want 20% of their student population to come from east of the Mississippi and north of the tennessee border, for example)

You can apply to a college anywhere you want. The one conflict that might come up is if it is a state school; it is very likely that you will have to pay out-of-state tuition which is often much much much more than in-state. Private colleges are virtually the same tuition for anyone from anywhere. Depending on the type of college, you might even have an advantage at being accepted being from further away if they are trying to diversify their student body. If you will need student housing, make sure to find out if it will be available. :)
