Which is a better college- McGill University or Washington University?
If you had to say overall, which one is better-known, has a better reputation, and is just overall better academically: McGill University (in Montreal, Canada) or Washington University (in St. Louis, Missouri)? And no, don't just go look up a list of the top colleges. Based on what you already know. I'm trying to analyze my college options.

McGill is ranked #1 in Canada - everyone knows this so I didn't have to look it up - but Washington obviously isn't #1 in the USA. So, I'd guess that McGill is "better" overall. Both are still prestigious schools though, lol. Being Canadian, I'm biased towards McGill but, honestly, McGill is probably considered more prestigious than Washington in Canada while Washington is considered more prestigious than McGill in the US. Where are you planning on working in the future, Canada or the US?
