College information for Washington State?
Im a Junior right now but im alreday thinking about college and i wanna go to a college, university, community college in Washington State. Could someone list me all of the colleges/community colleges/university in washington state please???

heyy i live in seattle =]=] yeah!! anyways there is -UW seattle, tacoma or bothel (seattle is the best!) -seattle U -SPU -Wa State U (small town, just came back from visiting there and i liked the feel of it!) -Western Wa U -Eastern Wa U -Central Wa (dont recommend this school) -Gonzaga (i heard its hard to get into but its a good school) -North seattle community college (i go there now, dual credit; HS Jr) -south seattle CC -shoreline CC (just north of seattle) -(i think there are other CC in seattle but cant remember them, and othe cities as well) good luck!! but as for me, i am trying to get away from all this rain and snow!!! south cali here i come =D

How is the Washington D.C area for a college student

How is the Washington D.C area for a college student?
I am planning to attend George Washington University, and I want to know from those who have been there often or live there how is the area. I dont party or go "clubbing" so I dont mean in that way. For a serious student does D.C have a good atmosphere? Thanks!

As long as you don't leave campus, you'll be fine. The DC area in general is a sewer; lots of crime, muggings, and murders.
Answer 2 :
I have a friend who went to Georgetown and loved it. There is way more to do than clubbing in DC like outdoors stuff (hiking, biking, rowing, etc.), tons of history in the surrounding area, and museums and culture all over...and don't listen to the crime stuff, there is crime everywhere...DC is not a hole.

I Need a good community college in Washington any advice

I Need a good community college in Washington any advice?
I'm looking into Shoreline or Central. If you live around the area I'd like to ask you a TON of questions!!!

Answer 1 :
Bellevue Community College is the best community college in the state. It actually just changed it's name to Bellevue College because you can now get your two year and four year degree.
Answer 2 :
The two schools are both good but are very different. Seattle Central is very urban with a reputation of having a more diverse politically active student body. Shoreline is suburban and with a less diverse student body. Either would be good for completing a 2 year degree with the goal of transfering to a 4 year college or to complete a technical training program. It would really just depend on which one offers what you are planning on taking or which atmosphere would fit you the best.

my dad went to central in the 70s and loved it because it was in the country side but im sure the cow pastures that were there are gone now lol
